Aimee K. : Hello Ana, I had the honor to come to your face sculpture workshop at the Firehouse recently. I keep wanting to reach out and let
you know how much I loved that class!! I was focusing so hard and concentrating so deeply that I worry that you couldn't tell how much I was enjoying myself. I'm hoping to make it to your talk on Sunday, but I wanted to email you in case I can't be there to tell you in person how much I enjoyed your workshop.
Susan B.: Ana's class was amazing, especially for someone like me who is a complete beginner in sculpting with clay. I felt comfortable and at ease with her because she had the patience and expertise to guide me through the process. She made everything so clear and straightforward, which was a big help considering my lack of experience. Ana's expertise in sculpting with clay allowed her to provide me with valuable guidance and knowledge. She was able to explain the techniques and steps in a clear and straightforward manner, making it easier for me to understand which is crucial for someone like me who is just starting out.

Ceramic Workshop: Safety, Slab Rolling, Tile Texture Decorating from March
The workshops have been fantastic! Meeting new artists has always fascinated me, and being able to share the modest knowledge I have in ceramics has been an amazing experience. Thank you to all the participants. I'm excited to announce another Slab Rolling workshop for the month of April. Space is limited to 6 participants. Hope to see you there! |

Wind Chime Workshop
Day 1 - Build wind chime from a clay slab
|
Day 2 - Observe techniques and paint bisque pieces and glaze Fire
|
Day 1 - We've already begun this workshop. On the first day, we were met with snow, creating a bitterly cold atmosphere. Luckily, my enclosed studio had a heater, allowing us to work comfortably and produce the wind chime. I'm eagerly anticipating how the pieces will turn out after their initial firing on Thursday.
Day 2 - The following Saturday, it rained incessantly throughout the day. Once again, the persistent cold prompted us to set up in the enclosed studio. Despite the weather, I arranged the tables so we could all engage in discussion and the participants could observe various techniques for their pieces. Unfortunately, one of the participants fell ill and couldn't attend. The pieces will undergo glaze firing this week. Today, Thursday, I removed the pieces from the kiln. They look great and they are ready for assembly.
Day 3 (1 hour):
